A slightly better picture. I am leaning toward either my middle finger or pinky.
Help! I don’t know what nails would match this dress. Thoughts?
I had no clue as to what to call this. These nails are similar to the jellyfish nails I did earlier. This again is the product of needle-dragging (though I use a toothpick). After applying a layer of white, I applied a thicker layer of white and put a drop of purple on top. Before either of the two polishes dried and settled, I made random swirls in the polish (be careful/try not to scrape the first layer).
Nail Polish Used:
Sinful Colors Snow Me White (If you are looking for a polish you won’t have to apply 3-4 layers, I’d recommend this one.)
Essie (I don’t know the name of this polish)
Cherry Blossom Nails…or Arizona Iced Tea Nails
Happy Spring Everyone!! I am excited—though allergies are horrible. In honor of the change in season, I painted cherry blossom trees on my nails (although though they really look like the dollar Arizona Tea drinks). Also polaroids! I went to Central Park with my friend the other day and took those. Trees in bloom are beautiful.
Nail Polish Used:
-China Glaze “Re-Fresh Mint”
-Essie “In Stitches” — mauve
-Sinful Colors “Easy Going” — light pink
-Sinful Colors “Snow Me White”
Toothpicks! I used toothpicks to create the small dots. I smudged some to create a “fuller” look for the trees. A lot of layering of colors—started with white, built the colors up, and added some white at the end.
Happy St. Patty’s Day
I quickly painted my nails green the other day. Nothing fancy with this one. Three coats of Color Club’s Age of Aquarius. (One thing I noticed about Color Club is that the nail polish is very thin. The good thing about this is that the nail polish dries fairly quickly. However, you should apply at least two coats.)
It has been such a long time since I had last posted! I haven’t been able to change my nails recently because of my new gym class, rock climbing. I realized that it is quite annoying climbing with long nails.
I had to supervise a middle school dance, so I decided to paint my nails to match the outfit I wore that day. I used Essie’s In Stitches, a dark navy blue from Maybelline’s Express Finish, Sinful Color’s Snow Me White, and a random company’s dark blue.
Easy application: After applying my base coat, I painted all of my nails white. Using a sponge, I dabbed on the colors. I started with the darkest color first and left white spots for the pink and navy blue. (similar to the galaxy nails)

NOTE: don’t want a new look every day? Go at your own pace! The big goal is to get through all 31 manicures… and notice how your skills grow!
I want to try this but I usually only change my manicures each month… It would take me over 2 years to complete this LOL
So! I absolutely want to do this but repainting my nails every day seems a bit ridiculous—bad for my nails, not enough time to appreciate my nails, waste of polish… BUT I would love to do this challenge. Since the “Colors” days seem a bit too ordinary, I might start with Day 11 and change my nails every week or so. Let’s see how this goes? (I am terrible at these challenges. I’ll probably end up just designing my own nails.)
Hey everyone! I haven’t posted in a bit. So my nails are rather simple. A coat of Sally Hansen’s Wine Not (haahahahaha I like these puns) and finished with OPI’s Rainbow in the S-kylie. I love the confetti-like glitter. I’m not sure whether it is new but the OPI one I used is part of Nicole by OPI. Great colors. I might pick up another bottle next week.
